Hamelin Furniture was started in the late 1800s by a traveling salesman named Eugene James Hamelin. Eugene started the furniture store with the idea to sell quality furniture at an affordable price. This idea has been passed down for over one hundred years and four generations. Eugene proudly sold locally made furniture and delivered it by horse and cart. Today we are in a global market, and at Hamelin Furniture Company we are proud to continue selling furniture made in Maine, New England and the rest of the United States.
